Counselling / Psychology / Mental Health

I am grateful to work alongside you to feel heard, seen, and to understand where you are on your journey. I believe we all have strengths and gifts to discover purpose and change. I cultivate my approach to meeting your personal needs by providing an empathetic, non-judgmental, and safe space so you can share anything on your mind. I will work collaboratively with you to ensure you receive what you need from our sessions. My education includes a Bachelor of Sociology from the U of S and a Bachelor of Social Work from the U of R.

As an individual with my own lived experiences and challenges, it has created the pursuit to help others and to understand human behavior. My passion to continually learn about mental health has brought me to the career of Social Work. I have had the privilege of working for 8+ years alongside youth and adults who have encountered various life challenges and socio-economic barriers in schools, non-profit organizations, rural communities, and corrections. I work with a holistic view of healing that is person-centered, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive. Some modalities/perspectives I incorporate into my practice are: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, shadow work, the Medicine Wheel, and “Ikigai.”

I believe finding the right counsellor who matches your goals and needs is profoundly important. I offer a free 20-minute consultation call to connect and answer any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting with you.
